Display Requirements
Every vehicle must be surrounded by a display / crowd barrier that includes ground cover underneath the vehicle.
- Most exhibitors use carpet, carpet squares, vinyl or vinyl squares as ground cover.
- The edges of your ground cover must be taped down. Most exhibitors use Duck Tape that matches their ground cover.
- The outer dimensions of your display should be the exact same as your booth size: 10’x10′, 10’x20′ or 20’x20′.
- All 20’x20′ displays must be pre-approved and must include a “Kick Guard”: A solid border along the floor of your display.
Nice displays don't have to be expensive or labor intensive. Here are a few things to keep in mid when designing your display:
- Your display frames your vehicle, much like a framed piece of artwork. A nice display will strengthen a vehicle & a poor display can detract from it.
- Keep your display low so it doesn’t block the view of your vehicle. There is no official requirement, we have found that 6″ to 24″ works well.
- If you are using ropes or chain, your display will need a minimum of one upright stanchion every 10′ (at least 6 stanchions for a 10’x20′ display).
- If you plan on using rope or chain, make sure that your stanchion’s bases are broad enough and heavy enough to support the weight of the rope or chain “pulling” at them. Your display must be stable enough to stand on its own and not fall if bumped by a spectator. Bases can be taped down for extra safety, but do not depend on the tape to hold up the stanchions.
Want to create your own display? Check out the gallery for inspiration.
If you do not have a display and creating one is not possible for you, weekend display rentals are available.
• Exhibitors in the Chattanooga, TN show can rent display packages from Showtime Event Rentals.
• Car space numbers are not pre-assigned. You will provide your actual space number to Showtime Event Rentals on Thursday during Move-In.
• Rented displays will be “Movie Theater” style ropes & stanchions.

GoldStar Street Series Competition
The GoldStar Street Series is a competition exclusive to MotorSports Productions’ World of Wheels. We began this competition in 1997 in response to the many inquires we had about showing daily street driven vehicles at our indoor events. The GoldStar Street Series competition does not judge the undercarriage or trunk of a vehicle. Only the paint, body, and interior are judged. In addition, vehicles are not penalized because of minor road wear which cannot been seen by the casual observer.
Classification
The vehicles are classed and placed in categories by ISCA Judging Officials. The classes & categories are similar to ISCA classifications.
Awards
GoldStar Street Series winners and runners up will be awarded GoldStar Trophies. GoldStar is not a part of the ISCA competition.
If you are not sure which competition is right for you, we would encourage you to compete in ISCA Competition.

Move Out will begin after the show is closed & spectators have been cleared from the building. We will make announcements & let you know when you may begin taking down your display. By order of Chattanooga Fire Codes, no cars will be allowed to crank up until the Loading Dock roll up doors have been raised. When the doors come up, vehicles that are being driven out are allowed to exit first. Once the “drivers” have exited the building, small trailers are allowed in & then large trailers after that. There is no need to be in a impatient or in a rush; Move Out goes pretty quickly & the show floor will be empty within a few hours.
